Portfolios > CONSTRUCTS: Objects That Transcend Conventional Categorization

CONSTRUCT: To create or form by arranging and combining elements.

Working in a sketchbook is a liberating experience, unburdened by the pressure to produce definitive artwork. In this experimental space, my curiosity and imagination converge, giving rise to dynamic and unconventional thumbnail sketches. These initial explorations form the conceptual foundation of my on-going series, CONSTRUCTS.

In CONSTRUCTS, I investigate the interplay of lines, shapes, and colors on 20x23 inch raw canvases, creating forms that resist traditional classification. Each piece is intended to challenge viewers to engage on a deeper, more intuitive level. By dissolving conventional boundaries, I seek to foster a dialogue on the fluidity of form and the complexity of meaning.
