Shaped painting-sculptures become objects in their own right, not simply paintings on canvas. They mount straight on the wall or in frames. This portfolio includes a small selection of the over 35 Juggling Rocks. I play up contradictions of organic volumes with geometric shapes. The shapes are canvas under wooden dowels, or simply canvas pieces, that mount flat on the wall. There are no boundaries. The space surrounding the pieces is no less important than the pieces themselves. Pieces float in space.
